The Society supports activities for the advance of the fundamental and applied research in the field of ISROS.
The future of the optoelectronics depends on the students of today. ISROS encourage them through academic project and help the students interested by the fields of ISROS.
· A compact optical transmission link payload: Laser diodes, Mach-Zehnder Modulator, Erbuim doped fiber amplifier, Photodetector, Divers.
· In-flight metrology of the gain and noise
· Mock-up for a 3U cubesat
· 2 years Space mission:
· Periodically recovering gain and noise data according to the deposited dose and temperature
· Data post treatment
ISROS supports this academic project in a framework on the development of new qualification tests for the reliability of optoelectronics in space environment. As a sponsor, ISROS will follow the project and access to the results. Results will be shared with working group.
